(hereinafter referred to as the "Company") has established the following personal information protection policy (hereinafter referred to as this "Privacy Policy") in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and endeavours to handle personal information appropriately.

Implementation of Security Control Measures for Personal Data

The Company takes necessary and appropriate measures to prevent the leakage, loss or damage of the personal data it handles, and manages personal data appropriately. The Company also exercises appropriate supervision over its employees and other personnel with respect to the handling of personal data and, where it entrusts the handling of personal data to a contractor, supervises that contractor so that the contractor manages the personal data appropriately.

The Company will not provide personal data to third parties without the prior consent of the individual, except in the following cases.

Provision to Contractors

In order to conduct its business smoothly, the Company may entrust all or part of its operations to external service providers and provide them with the personal information necessary for that purpose. Such operations include the following.

  • Professionals providing specialist services in legal, financial, tax, and human resources and labour matters (attorneys, certified public accountants, tax accountants, labour and social security attorneys, etc.)
  • Advisers conducting corporate valuations, various forms of due diligence, and valuations of shares and businesses
  • External investigation agencies conducting KYC/AML and sanctions risk screening
  • Financial institutions, payment service providers, trust banks and the like
  • SaaS providers of online data rooms, cloud storage, customer relationship management (CRM), electronic contracting, settlement and the like
  • IT vendors responsible for website operation, system maintenance, infrastructure operation and information security measures
  • Service providers responsible for marketing automation, e-mail distribution, event operation and the like

The Company enters into confidentiality agreements with its contractors and exercises appropriate supervision, so as to ensure that personal information is handled securely.

Procedures for Requests for Disclosure, etc. of Retained Personal Data

Where the Company receives any of the following requests from the individual, or from a duly authorised agent of the individual, with respect to retained personal data held by the Company, the Company will confirm in accordance with its prescribed procedures that the requester is the individual (or the agent of the individual) and will then respond in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and applicable foreign personal information protection legislation.
