Yuya Kuratomi
Profile
- Founded GMO Cybersecurity by Ierae, Inc. (formerly Cocon) in 2013 while still a university student
- Raised a total of approximately US$52 million* in equity from venture capital firms and corporate investors, including the government-backed JIC Venture Growth Investments and Z Venture Capital
- Built the cybersecurity business from the early stage, growing it into one of Japan's leading cybersecurity companies with world-class white-hat hackers
- Sold the company to GMO Internet Group, Inc. for approximately US$173 million* in February 2022
- Established Office Kuratomi Singapore Pte. Ltd. in May 2022
- Withdrew from the School of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University
- Named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia, among other honours

Yuto Tanaka
Profile
- After passing Japan's preliminary bar examination and national bar examination and completing his legal training, he joined Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu (a Tokyo-based international law firm) in 2016. He advised on a broad range of corporate legal matters, including domestic and cross-border restructuring, as well as dispute resolution in Japan and Europe. In 2020, he was assigned to the firm's Singapore office, where he supported Singaporean and Japanese companies with legal matters across Asia. After two years of study in the UK from 2021, he joined Office Kuratomi in October 2023.
